BEYOND BUSINESS. INTO COMMUNITY
At Dora’s Space, we believe the work we do should reach beyond tasks, projects and everyday business support. It should create connection, strengthen communities and contribute to something bigger. Beyond shares the charities, organisations and community initiatives we proudly support, collaborate with and stand behind. It reflects our commitment to using our time, skills and resources to make a meaningful difference-because success is not only measured by what we achieve, but by the positive impact we create along the way.
For over 30 years, Deaf Lottery supporters have played a vital role in empowering Deaf Connect to deliver life-changing programs to Deaf Australians. The focus of funds raised by the Deaf Lottery is to seek out opportunities within our services – investing in new programs and projects, and expanding our reach to ensure that no part of the Deaf Community is left behind. Through the generosity of our Deaf Connect supporters and VIPs, we have been able to expand to become a national provider with staff across the country dedicated to delivering services – including sign language interpreting and Auslan classes. We work alongside the community, with a focus on empowerment to provide a greater impact and positive outcomes for all Deaf Australians along with the allies and families who support them.
The Smith Family plays an important role in supporting children and young people experiencing disadvantage by helping them access the education, resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Through its sponsorship programs, the organisation provides practical and ongoing support designed to improve educational outcomes and create brighter futures. Their work helps give young Australians a stronger foundation for learning, confidence and long-term opportunity.
